On May 25, 2018, the new European Union (EU) data protection law went into effect, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It is the most significant change in data protection legislation thus far and shall impact organisations that process the personal data of a resident of the EU in relation to goods or services, or that monitor the online behaviour of people within the EU. The introduction of the GDPR will strengthen the privacy rights of individuals with tougher constraints on the processing of their personal data. It gives them more control by improving and expanding their rights regarding their data and providing greater transparency in the purpose and use thereof.

PDA INTERNATIONAL’S COMMITMENT TO THE PROTECTION OF DATA AND COMPLIANCE THEREWITH

PDA International is committed to the highest standards of information security, privacy and transparency. We give top priority to the protection and administration of data in accordance with accepted standards.

PDA International shall comply with applicable GDPR regulations when they go into effect in 2018, including how data is processed, while it works closely with our clients and partners to meet the contractual obligations pertaining to the use of our products and services. Our team of expert technology developers and digital specialists will also help clients meet their obligations by providing expert services and added-value solutions.
